Free money from the government
You could be eligible to receive free money toward your super with the Government’s co-contribution scheme. If you earn less that $60,342 in the 2008-09 financial year the government co-contribution scheme could add as much as $1,500 to your super account, tax free.

One fund
Life’s much easier with one super account. You will only pay one set of fees and only have to keep track of one set of paperwork. So put it all together and take your HOSTPLUS account with you from job to job.

Don’t pay more tax than you have to
Tax laws introduced from 1 July 2007 could mean that you will be charged three times the tax if you have not supplied your Tax File Number (TFN). Avoid paying extra by providing HOSTPLUS with your Tax File Number. 

Find your lost super
If you've had a few jobs over the years you may have lost track of some of your super. Getting it back could be as easy as a phone call or a free search at www.unclaimedsuper.com.au
