The management/clerical scale is available if you:

1. are employed for at least 15 hours per week on an ongoing basis, and
2. undertake occupational duties within an office or similar environment, and
3. are employed in the following occupations:
• management
• clerical
• marketing
• accounting
• administration, or
• other similar low-risk occupations agreed to in writing by the Insurer.

All other occupations are subject to the standard scale.

If you are covered for this benefit, in the event of you becoming totally and permanently disabled (or your death), you (or your beneficiaries/legal personal representative) will receive your superannuation account balance as well as your insured benefit (as described in the table below) as a lump sum payment.

The amount of your benefit is determined by the number of units held and your age at the time you became eligible for a benefit. Refer to the table below to determine the number of units you wish to apply for (if any).

Death & TPD benefits as at 1 October 2008

1 unit of Death and TPD Cover = $1 per week.
1 unit of Death Only Cover = 50c per week.
