Our awards

We’ve been fortunate enough to be awarded some of our industry’s highest accolades. We’re proud to have received these awards. But our success wasn’t due to luck. It was our commitment to value for money, and support for both our members and employers that did it.

Money magazine Best of the Best

For the second year running, we received Money magazine’s Best of the Best award for Best Super Fund Manager 2008. The judges considered a range of attributes in the selection process, including investments, fees, insurance, financial planning facilities, and dedication to supporting both our members and employers.

SuperRatings Fund of the Year

The SuperRatings Fund of the Year is awarded to the super fund offering best value for money. We were selected from over 120 super funds to receive the prize for both 2006/07 and 2008.  Check out the SuperRatings report here.

SuperRatings Platinum Rating

SuperRatings awards are judged on a super fund’s value for money. And their ratings are too. That’s why we were thrilled to receive the SuperRatings Platinum rating – the highest possible – over two years.

Chant West 5 Apples

The Chant West 5 Apples award recognises quality. Its judges assess the merits of a particular fund relative to the highest industry standards. This accolade is judged on organisational strengths, investments, fees, insurance, administration, member services and employer services. So you can imagine how pleased we were to receive the 5 Apples again in 2007.

AAA rating

The AAA rating is only given after a detailed analysis of a super fund’s operation and management. Each year, a group from the independent body, SelectingSuper, compare super funds from across our industry and award those of the highest quality. We were chosen to join their list of exceptional quality super funds again this year.

Heron rating

The Heron rating is based on a super fund’s investment arrangements, insurance, ancillary benefits, communications and contributions. The rating service covers industry funds, master trusts and multi-employer funds in the corporate and retail sectors. And in 2007, we were again given their highest quality rating – 5 stars.
